Palisades Village reopened on August 15 with a ribbon cutting, a farmers market restart four days later, and seven restaurants serving food by lunchtime. Alphabet Bar & Grill was one of them, chef Timothy Hollingsworth's neighborhood grill built in the old Hank's space, plating rotisserie chicken to a crowd that hadn't had anywhere to sit down together in nineteen months. Angelini Ristorante, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Porta Via, Alfred, K Bakery, and McConnell's rounded out the list. That was the roster the Village itself published for opening day.
Spacca Tutto, the Nancy Silverton steakhouse announced for Palisades Village, was not on it.
Reports and the businesses' own websites have since listed different projected opening periods.
The Spacca Tutto announcement came together in October 2025, staged as a proper media event: Silverton, developer Rick Caruso, and filmmaker-turned-restaurateur Joseph "McG" Nichol sitting inside the empty shell of what would become the restaurant, posing for photos with renderings from design firm AvroKO. The concept was pitched as an Italian American steakhouse pulling from Silverton's Chi Spacca, expanded into all-day service with a broad steak program, a wine list running to roughly 250 Italian and domestic labels, and a piano bar built into a space landing somewhere between 3,000 and 3,500 square feet depending on which outlet you check, with a patio of about 1,500 square feet attached. Menu carryovers from Chi Spacca were named directly: the Focaccia di Recco, the Chicken Pot Pie. New dishes floated for the Palisades menu included a crab Louie, shrimp cocktail, steak tartare, and an artichoke dip, developed with Chi Spacca alum Armen Ayvazyan.
The target date attached to all of it, repeated across nearly every outlet that covered the announcement, was August 2026. That's the same month Palisades Village itself reopened.
When August 15 arrived, Spacca Tutto wasn't seating anyone. It showed up on the Village's tenant list but not on the opening-day dining roster, and by mid-August, local coverage had already shifted language to "next month," pointing toward a September debut instead. This was a change from the original target date.
Then, on September 4 and 5, Spacca Tutto held a two-day hiring event in the Swarthmore Room on the second floor of Palisades Village, the same building where the restaurant itself will eventually operate. The listing sought servers, supervisors, a maître d', hosts, bussers, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, at hourly wages between $18 and $35, with free parking offered to anyone showing up to apply.
The September 4–5 event listed roles across the front of house and kitchen. It provides a staffing update, but does not itself establish when Spacca Tutto will open.
As of publication, Palisades Village's dining page listed "Opening Fall 2026," with a waitlist signup for reservation access. The restaurant's standalone site, spaccatutto.com, listed an opening this September, a more specific timeframe than the Village page.
Then there's the press coverage layered on top. A piece published September 5 carried a headline claiming an August 2026 launch, the same date that had already passed without an opening, while the body of that same article cited the Village's own "fall 2026" language a few paragraphs later. The headline and body gave different projected timelines; the article was published the same week the hiring fair took place at Palisades Village.
The sources cited here give a range of projected opening dates, and the hiring event supplies another timeline update. The published material in this post does not establish a confirmed opening date.

Palisades Village survived the fire when most of its immediate surroundings didn't, in part because Caruso brought in private water tankers to protect the property. That gave the complex a head start most of the neighborhood's commercial corridor doesn't have. But a single address surviving intact doesn't mean every tenant inside it recovers on the same clock. Alphabet Bar & Grill went from announcement to open doors in a matter of months. Spacca Tutto, announced around the same window with comparable fanfare, held its two-day hiring event about three weeks after the building it sits in reopened to the public.
The reopening of one shopping center can involve separate timelines for individual tenants. Staffing updates, hiring events, and business websites offer additional information alongside earlier announcements.
