The devastating Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025 impacted many thousands of people. Among them was Joseph Cilic, whose own home in the Pacific Palisades was destroyed, but whose focus quickly pivoted to taking care of his community.
“I saw a fire in the hills from my office, which is a three-minute walk from my home, but I was confident the fire department would put it out,” remembers Cilic, global real estate advisor with Sotheby’s International Realty - Pacific Palisades Brokerage.
“By the time I got back from my lunch meeting and checked in with my wife, our house was fully engulfed in smoke.”
Thankfully, Cilic, his wife, their two children and two dogs....
