Joe Cilic is a long-time Pacific Palisades resident and founder of the The Cilic Group, the #1 Team at Sotheby's International Realty Pacific Palisades for each of the last 7 years. Joe, his wife, his two kids, and two dogs lost their home in the Palisades fire. Since then, Joe and his team have helped numerous residents sell surviving homes, buy and sell lots, and relocate. His relatability, having experienced the impact of the fire first-hand, his knowledge of the local market, and experience with the building process, in addition to selling new construction homes, have made Joe a go-to expert for clients and other real estate agents.
 
Joe believes in the resilience of the Palisades and is eager to get back to the special community he and his family love. As an advocate for the residents, Joe stays on top of issues impacting the Palisades community. Whether you want to determine the current value of your lot or surviving home, or if you want to understand options available to you for doing joint ventures, holding the land, selling, or buying, Joe is available as a trusted resource. Joe is a licensed attorney and real estate broker who, during his 21-year career in real estate, has sold, supervised, or participated in over 4,000 residential real estate transactions totaling over 5 billion dollars in volume. He co-authored the book Stand on the Shoulders of Giants and has been recognized as a Top 100 agent at Sotheby's International Realty out of over 26,000 agents worldwide. His team, The Cilic Group, has been a Top 100 team in the entire Country according to Real Trends and the Wall Street Journal.
 
Joe holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a member of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Board of REALTORS® and the State Bar of California.
